Packaging operator
Typical Accountabilities:
• Independently drives and delivers technical solutions that add value to and support the delivery of overall packaging solutions in line with business specifications and requirements
• Carries out packing line maintenance and repairs
• Diagnoses packing line equipment faults and ensures smooth continuous running of the line
• Supports continuous improvement of packing equipment performance to meet the agreed scorecard / objectives
• Carries out modifications in accordance with approved processes (e.g. change control, validation) and ensures delivery of required functional performance
• Provides formal training, expertise and coaching to less experienced staff and new starters
• Ensures that the workshop is adequately equipped with suitable, calibrated equipment. Maintain the housekeeping and working procedures in the workshop in line with current Safety Health and Environment and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Educated to degree level in Engineering and/or qualified by experience; Knowledge of procedures and compliance with Safety Health and Environment and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements; Good understanding of engineering principles; Technical expertise in specific area of work
• Desirable:
Key Relationship to reach solutions:
• Internal (to AZ or team): Interfaces with Process Execution Team engineering personnel; Relationships with internal service providers & suppliers
• External (to AZ):
